I just completed the change over from my standard seats to S3 seats and door cards from what I understand do be from a 2008 model, My SB is a 56 plate i had this wood trim ewww! and rubbish seats. The seats I got in fine except there was an additional wiring loom from the S3 seats that i couldn't find a connection for in my floor space which I assume could be the loom for the heated seats which I don't have a switch to or maybe electronic lumbar support?? dunno how I can get that working BUT!!! most importantly!!!!......... After I transferred my front door cards over from my older ones to the brush aluminium ones all the switches stopped working?? i don't know what i done I was just a straight forward plug n play and now nothing is working.. HELP!?

It should be just plug and play. As long as you have a good plugged connection, the only other thing it could be is a blown fuse.

how about the door contoller unit? could that go?

It could yea, but more on the mechanical side (jammed switches) opposed to the actual electrical side of the switches.

Are both door cards not working? If that's the case, it's the fuse. If it's just 1, then I'd say a dodgey connection on the one plug.

He'll probably pull your pants down with regards to the price. If your not clued up on electrics though, i'd stay away. Maybe you've somehow took out a relay.

It still sounds like a fuse to me though.

A relay is an electrical switch. They should be near your battery. If your not clued up, i'd leave it to the experts.

Hi, I've got the same problem as you described - none of the switches working after taking the door card off to replace a smashed window. What did yours end up being in the end? And how did you solve it? Thanks
