Seat Bocanegra

Evening all,

Has anyone come across battery problems with the new Bocanegra.

If the car is left for more than 4 or 5 days, the battery drains down & the car fails to start.

Mixed messages from dealer saying its a common problem with no Seat solution, Seat say take to another dealer.

Obviously something remains on & drawing charge. The dealer says the car rmust be driven & its an acceptable fault, which seems a bit strange!

If anyone has come across this fault with this particular car, let me know.

I haven't got experience in owning this car myself, but that certianly is not an "acceptable" fault.

Consider you parking your car at the airport for a week/2 weeks while you go on holiday, come back to find your car battery flat. I would be seething.

Personally, it sounds like someone is trying to skirt round the subject. Get a second opinion from another Seat/VW/Audi/Skoda garage.
