What brand is your wireless router?

I like the Linksys products but D-Link are also good. Go for one that meets the standard '802.11g' or even better 802.11n.

Can you confirm it's a desktop pc?

USB is great but still slow, try exploring the PCI option they are quite easy to install and much neater.

If you need one I'm selling a Belkin one on ebay.

It works great for web browsing but I use to have it in a media centre connected to my TV which was slow when streaming HD video so I upgraded to a 802.11n. All depends on what you want to use it for and you would need a router that supports 802.11n to take advantage of its speed.

as you have a desktop pc, as Shahzaib has also said I would opt for a PCI card. Faster transfer rates and less chance of it bring snapped off!

If you are stuck for installation instructions, ask here or google installing a PCI card.

Far easier! - Providing you have a spare slot!

The one Shazaib is selling looks ok. I use a D-Link DWL-G520 and happy with its performance. So long as it's meets or exceeds the 802.11g and fits your pc. Check whether it's PCI or PCI-E, they don't mix.

The card I'm selling is PCI I have another one of the exact same spec just has a bigger antenna. If your local enough to Birmingham and have vag com, you can have it (i can install it for you as well) in return for assistance with coding come/leave home lights.
