I think the car more than makes up for the lack of any castle in the background, very nice indeed.

Sweet what colour is that- Monza Silver or a very clean Quartz Grey :)

I also thought the S4 would have a different design of alloys to set it off from the S-Line

A fairly clean quartz grey. There are S4 specific alloys but they're only 18's and look a bit small for the wheel arches IMHO.

Us Lava Boys are getting a run with all this Quartz coming along.........

Looks great and totally agree that the 19" 7 arms look nicer than the S4 18".

Correct me if I an wrong but the B7 S4 ran the same alloys as the sline.

I must be the only one who decided to keep the 18" S4 wheels because I much prefer the looks :)

B7 S4 had a choice of specific 18"s Avus III and the 8P S3 style 7 spokes.

I saw a B8 S4 today with 19" New RS6 alloys- looked fab, are these a new option or a very expensive retrofit?

Still very much on the wishlist as next car though :)

have to disagree with you there Sir.
I think in previous models with the right alloys and trim the avant's looked decent but were no match on the saloons.

I do wonder why they chose the Avant to be the platform for their top model though, bit of a left field approach.

Whoa I can see why you opted for that wheel design then. Doesn't make sense why the RS6 ones are more money, they made of titanium or something, I looked at the configurator and the BBS ones are £355 too and these would be very expensive to buy aftermarket. Odd Audi pricing lol

I've seen one other I think but that's kinda cheating as it's owned by someone else at my office ;)

In our works car park there's usually an RS4 cab, the aforementioned S4, a TT-S and occasionally my S4 and a TT-RS so that's all the S and RS cars I see regularly.

I know what you mean!! But then today I have seen 4 yes 4 S4's, 3 Saloon's 1 Red, 1 Blue and 1 Quartz Grey (No it was not mine) and the Avant was black that did look good
