Hi,
We have a diesel Seat Alhambra 1.9 TDI - 04 reg. On two occasions doing motorway driving the engine has has a constant regular judder driving between 40 & 75 mph, irrespective of gears, which disappears as soon as clutch is depressed.
On both occasions the weather was cool and wet when the fault occurred, and we had done a lot of miles. The car is coming up for 100,000 miles.
Called the breakdown out last time, who thought it was the dual mass flywheel. But the car is back at the mechanic and the problem has disappeared.
I would be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions.
