Passat V5 cutting out

Hi all

Any help with this problem would be much appreciated
My dad owns a 2001 passat V5 and it cuts out when taking corners.
Our mechanic cant seem to get to the bottom of it so was wondering if anyone had any ideas or has experienced this themselves?

Can anyone help out on this problem?

You need to get a fault-read done,
take a note of the codes, clear them,
run the car till it cuts-out again,
fault-read again and post the codes here.

Otherwise its just a guessing game.
