Can anyone advise as to cambelt replacement interval for the 2.0 TDi 140 please? Just had 60,000 mile service and my garage are suggesting it needs to be done (and its £300+) but the service record/ maintenance program booklet states 150,000 Km (say 100,000 miles) for the TDI engines - 90,000 Km (which is near enough 60,000) if it has an injector pump. My Galaxy 1.9 90 bhp had an injector pump and that was 60,000 miles for the belt.
Is it safe to wait till 100,000 - I do reasonable length runs most days as it is 10+ miles to work and seem to averaging around 17,000 miles a year? Or play safe and have it done soon? Thanks in anticipation!
