1.9 tdi AGR Dual Mass Flywheel

hello everyone. How could i check, that i got this one into my car?
but i dont want open my clutch. any chance to find it by number vin?

It depends on the engine number (printed on the sticker on the cam belt cover). Up to AGR 035 000 they had a 228-mm single mass flywheel, after AGR 035 000 they had a dual mass. This change occurred approximately June 1997.

hmm, but isnt is write somewhere on engine? becouse on polish forum, someone replied that single mass flywheel was untill 100 000 of numbers engines.

The engine number is stamped into the engine block next to the gearbox. I don’t care what someone said on a Polish forum, I was quoting you Audis own parts information system, ETKA.

Your car was built 13th March 2000 so definitely has a dual mass flywheel, or at least it was built with one originally.
