Hi there im wondering if anyone can help me with my problem. Ive had 4 ignition coils go bad 2 at a time so replaced them 2 at a time but then last week one of them went bad again so took the old one back to the shop due to it being still under warrenty and got a replacement but the car still seems to be misfiring somtimes usually about 3000 rpm once the engine heats up but usually once you give it abit of gas it breaks through the misfire and come to life. I took all the coils and plugs out to have a look and noticed 2 of the ignition coils and inside the cylinder are coated in oil, is there some sort of gasket that could be needing replaced?? the cars a 1.8t engine code avj any help would be great.
