we have just bought a 2007 1.8t sport sportback after a peroid with a very iffy renault megane, with the idea this must be more relible. We bought it from the official AUDi used programme. It felt fantastic, smooth powerfull and very solid. it has only done 19K miles so feels like new. We have had it for two months but i have noticed the 2nd and third gear becoming sticky and notchy. this has stayed the same but 2nd now sometimes crunches really bad, especially if you are pulling away from a roundabout when you need a bit of extra speed. I though it was my driving...i have tried a few things including sitting very close and pushing the clutch all the way to the bulkhead, this did not work either. I have taken it to my local dealer who could not find a fault and has suggested i drive it until it gets worse!!!!! i only have a years warranty with this vehicle and do not want this to go on too long.or BREAK totally... any ideas??
the gear box is a 6 speed manual
