the first time the dealer did it. the second time i did it by thrashing up and down the road at high revs now its on and in limp again.

yes because i think your dealer didnt drop the soot content enough,i always drop them to 5% otherwise you get your problem and they just want to sell a new dpf.....check the vcds user location and see if somebody near you can do a regen for you i can more or less guarantee that it will last a whole lot longer.......

Read your owners handbook!!!

You need to drive on light throttle, not accelerating or on over-run at 1800-2000 rpm for about 10 miles if possible, that should sort it.

DPF is not required for MOT, you can remove Dpf but this will put Engine light on, so you will need to have the code deleted from ECU.

Click on website in my sig & read info on there about DPF's

It can be maufactured though.

Some exhaust manufacturer like powerflow may be able to cut out dpf & weld a by-pass pipe in

yes well i able to do that myself if a cut around the top carfully pull the guts out reweld the top back on.then all the ports for the sensors will still be in the right place to connect again. got a mate wit all the sofware to do the fault code delete bit. mite try that. it looks like its a ball-ache to get at thou??
