Hi everyone,
this is my first post as I have just become the proud owner of a 95 passat freeway estate.
My temp light is flashing. first at ignition which i hear is normal but it can also comr on after a time ranging from 5 secs to 5 mins and sometimes not at all (but most often it does)
There is a new resevoir installed (previous to me buying the car) and I have flushed the coolant system hopefully doing the right thing by putting in g11 instead of the g12 that was in there. It was pretty clear tho.
Anybody got any ideas???
I also wanted to ask about the correct running temp for the engine. At the mo when driving it hovers at 90 but in traffic it rises to approx 100.
