My lights went crazy yesterday flashing on and off really fast with a warning indicator light coming on, no bulbs had gone so i took it to vw who said it need an ecu software upgrade which seemed to do the trick, just in case anyone else has this problem

Which model do you have - manual or auto lights ?. I assume you mean headlights.

Auto, it was the lights and indicators which went crazy

fell out of love with vw, golf not that special mine is full or rattles in front, and why cant a big compamy like vw get the easy things right such as the terrible reflection in the windows and windscreen from the vents, its not good enough

Well I suppose anyone can have a hickup it all depends how they get it fixed is the problem. Keep purging them.
