I've got a problem with the left hand front spring winding up when turning the steering, which makes an annoying noise.
I'm assuming there is a tight bearing at the top of the strut but I can't work out where it sits. The strut-top rubber mounting doesn't appear to include a bearing.
Haynes is no help.
Any ideas where the bearing fits please ?

Thanks

hello mate, i may be wrong its been a while since i last stripped one down, but iirc there is a bearing and it sits between the top mount and the spring cup, like i said im not 100% sure on that, it may pay to call your local parts and ask them if one is listed so you will be 100% sure

There is a coil top plate a spring mounting plate and then a 'Deep groove ball thrust bearing. PM me for a drawing of same. Regards Peter
