Not sure if this is the section to post but does anyone know a good shop to get some car mats with the vw logo on for my passat? been looking online but cannot find anything other than some with passat wrote on.

I think you will have to choose a mat and sew some patches on.

Just to let you know I bought a genuine set of new VW Passat mats off Ebay....all for £26 + P&P; a hell of a lot cheaper than what the main dealer quoted me I can tell you. Maybe I was lucky that a set cam up but certainly worth a look.

I guess OEM mats are at 600g thickness, must go for that figure or more. Found other cheaper mats not to be thick and luxury enough (Halfords tat). And it's harder to clean thinner mats somehow.
Saw few luxury mats at 900-1200 thickness but didn't make my mind up if they will be too thick. Love that feeling of dense and soft carpet like mats.
Saw few eBay adverts stating that too dense thickness in a car mat could be dangerous which I've found to be a bull shait bingo, guess traders try to justify their crap quality mats at £20 for set.
