I bet it's going to be 75% "Specialist Job, Take to Dealers" :biglaugh:

Haynes manuals where great back in the 70's/80's you could do any job on any car with a Haynes, even full engine rebuilds. Adjusting the tappetts on a Sunday morning, oh the memories. :D

In today canbus world what chance to you have of fault finding without VCDS? Wiring diagrams included?

Still should tell you how to change a bulb and fuse designation which is more than the useless handbook does.

Cheers
Lee

At long last. Been looking out for the book for a long time! It's really handy for audio stuff and how to rip apart the interior.

Hoping there is some wiring diagrams cause they always come in handy.

Will definatly keep an eye out for it online

Looks like it covers the common rail diesel then, I'm suprised at that with it being only a few years old.
May have to investigate further, maybe worth a read through although I still have 30 months warranty and 3 free services left. ;)

Mine's always dealer serviced, but I like to know what I'm sitting in (on).

Also I've not had any issues with the dealer....

ditto - ordered mine from Haynes at the weekend. Too tight to pay for first class post so probably take a week to come :D

Just curious, are your Haynes manuals any good and how does it tell you to tackle the relacement of the rear brake pads and discs.

Just wondered, what with the EPB!

I have done mine as I have VCDS but not every one has it and they would probably buy a Haynes manual to find out how to do it!!

Thanks

Daz

Mine is great. I use it mostly for how to remove interior trim pieces and electronics. Had a quick read trough it all though and from memory it tells you to use a diagnostics tool or get someone else with it to do the job.
