anyone use them ? thinking of purchasing one on pay as you go , monthly type thing about £30 a month incl wear n tear
any views, good / bad before i cough up some money ?

That seems reasonable. What engine/miles has yours covered? also read the small print.

For what its worth i own a 55 plate 2.0 140 bkp tdi with 60k and I would not entertain a warranty. I would suggest putting money aside for the passat when things go wrong. But thats just me.

07 2.0 tdi with 67500 miles.
waiting on a fone call from them to discuss the pros / cons

biggest load of crap ever i was with them and they would not pay out for new master cylinder claiming it was a pre existing problem i knew about prior to taking out my policy with them.
i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole im currently with the AA as they do a repairs policy i pay £20p/m including roadside breakdown cover

most of these warranties wont pay for diagnosing the fault which most people will tell you can take much longer than the repair its self. 5 hours doing tests at £50 per hour then 1 hour to fix it. :zx11:

Wouldn't bother, they will find an excuse somehow to wriggle out of any claim you make. Aftermarket warranties are all the same - useless.
