Audi concert radio cassette

Hello, sorry but I am new to this and not sure if this is the right place to post this. Ihave just bought a 1999 A3 Quattro 1.8 T sport and am having problems with the volume control on the Audi concert radio/cassette. I would liek to keep the car as original as possible so am looking to replace with the same unit. I beleive that the concert plus has the volume control issue fixed is this correct?
I have found one from a similar year A6 but do not know if it will be a straight swap. Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks Luke

I'm having the same problem with my concert from a 1998 A8!! Will a Concert Plus HU work with original Concert CD changer??

Sorry but I cant help you, decided to to try concert plus HU as didnt get any advice from forum, disapointed as I had anticipated more. Sorry Luke

Thanks for the reply. So you fitted a Concert Plus HU to the original 6 x CD changer? Or no changer?

Hi all,
Audi Concert Exchange unit with a 2 yr warrenty from local Audi dealer £220, it was supposed to be about £280 inc VAT but I started to walk away muttering mmmffffffkenwoodssssmmmmmffffreplacmentmmmfffff and they dropped the price.

I adjust the volume 30 times a day!!!!! If it's going to foul up I want it to happen under warrenty.
