The new car has made it to my place after an eight week delay. After driving it solo etc and taking some pics, I think these B8's are awesome cars. To say I'm chuffed is an understatement!

I know it needs a wash after it rained enough last night to just wet the car!

*I'm off now to get my flame suit on for buying a white car (I love it!)*:outtahere

dan172,

That car is looking real smart. The resurgence in white coloured cars is great, it looks fresh and clean. Black trim and tints from the B pillar looks smart as well.

Glad that you're chuffed with it.

I had to undertake a 2hour drive yesterday evening and which was a good chance for a road test of my new wheels. Since I was moving up from a B7 to B8 with both being 170ps Quattros, I wasn't expecting any noticeable change. I have to say the engine is far more responsive, has more torque in the upper revs, and is more fuel efficient (despite only having less than 100 miles on the clock).

Also, changing from an SE to s-line I was worried about the ride / comfort factor. Did't notice anything at all.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Never been a great lover of the B8 until now, got to say that both dans' avant and Bristles 4 door look just spot on and I'm sure they drive a treat

V v nice indeed - like it - hope it provides many years of fun. now get that paintwork protected with summat, and enjoy tootling around with a very sharp looking car. White's nice in the B8 Avant ...... (and no I didn't, I went for Aruba Blue - oh well)

Your car looks great :beerchug:
I have a B8 Avant S-line Special Edition on order and was toying with the -30mm s-line suspension over the "sports" suspension. What is your experience of the -30mm sus and 19's combined on the avant? I was afraid it might be too "crashy"?
