Just registered today so thought id say hello. Just been given a 1999 Golf GT Tdi 110 Highline off my uncle, needs a few things doing like brakes, couple of new tyres, otherwise its absolutely mint fully service history and I know all its history as my uncle had it from new.
Gotta take my hat off to this forum, there are a couple of probs with the car like:
1. Interior light not coming on when opening either of the front doors and the alarm going off unless i start the car intime, now know its prob the microswitches that have gone.
2. Not great at starting and juddering when coming to a stop then settling down again, now know its prob due to the pump timing being out of synch.
What can i say only had the car 2 days and well on the way to getting all the niggling little probs sorted thanks to you guys. WHAT A FORUM:D
