help please (coolant)

hi there i have an a3 1999 1.8 sport and my missus had the coolant light come on so she topped up with tap water it didnt require a lot is 1st top up in 9mths since i bought and had serviced(included coolant flush and fill) so my question is would i need to drain and refill or would it be ok to leave? any help much appreciated thanks in advance,matt also if i do need to refill how much coolant needed and do i mix with distilled water?:1zhelp:

I wouldnt worry abt it. If less then a litre was put in and you can still see that the fluid is pink (or blue) and you dont live in Siberia, you will be fine..

Cold water is fine, i had the light randomly come on to and then put some water in (cold bottled water) and its been fine since, and i believe its 40% coolant and 60% water :)
