hello everyone, just registered as i'm having some grief with my Passat 2.0 GL. and wanted some sound advice to try and sort it myself rather than getting shafted at a local garage. Basically it started pouring oil yesterday while it was sat running (i was having a windscreen chip repair) the repair man turned it off straight away as it was quite alot of oil that had leaked. It then stopped leaking, i've been told it might be the filter or a loose sump nut. Can you advise of anything else which could point to what has happened so i can at least try and get it sorted myself?
