Should I go for an Audi A3 or Audi A5

Im 24 and looking to buy an A5 Sline.

I have an A3 in white and the A5 will be in silver metallic. Both similar spec cars. Which one should I go for, A3 or the A5? Does age and colour of the car matter?

I would get the A5 if you can afford the insurance- which engine has it got 2.0T?

I had the loan of an A3 a couple weeks back and as nice as it is, the shape is looking kind of tired now.

Also had the B8 A4 for a few days and I love the console which is angled slightly towards the driver, and all the MMI buttons and the electronic handbrake- I guess the A5 will have a similar interior.

Due the the fact I like the A5 profile so much... course there is more to it than that I guess.

If I had the choice I'd go for A5.

A5 all day long.... im on my second one now and love them. go for 2.0tdi s Line as it may be costly to insure anything else.

I guess it depends on what you want to do in it, A5 is you want a stylish coupe that offers space etc, A3 if the hatchback better suits your life stye ( kids , hobbies etc )and spend most time in citys etc where the smaller car will be easier to find parking slots etc

What engine are you looking for?

On the A5 make sure it has servotronic steering as without its torque steer city I loved the A5 I had apart from the steering:aargh4:

A5 is nice - still pricy 2nd hand thou. like to see one at a reasonable price !

A3 is way too small inside but then again im 6' 4" and 23 stone maybe i need to down size!
