Air conditioning fan noise

Hi,

I have the normal air conditioning in my car (i.e. you can set the temperature but it's not 3 zone).

I only took delivery of my new Avant yesterday, but the fan seems to be quite noisy (even with all the vents open). It's about 27c outside and I have it set to 20c (auto) inside.

Has anybody else had this problem, or am I over reacting?

I think they are all the same - very noisy especially when at LO

I know it's all relative - but I've just come from driving a VW Touran over the last few weeks and I never seemed to notice the too much noise from the air con.
