150 TDI can it have a 170turbo?

Hi guys,

My turbo went in my 150 Gt tdi golf mark 4. I was just off the phone to Vw and ordered my new turbo. But it hit my after that i should just order the 170bhp turbo as an upgrade.

Will they do this for me?
Has any1 else done it?

It wont fit without modification. The 170 Turbo is for the mk5 2.0 16v engine, so it wont go straight on an older 1.9 8v.

You be better getting a proper hybrid turbo designed for the 1.9.
