I have had the new Passat 2.0 TDi for about 4 months now and have had the usual problems with no kessy key, parking sensors tunning problems

Now i appear to have a problems with a blown the fuse for the rear windscreen. This is the second time it has occurred

It was fitted with a 20 amp but the book says it should be 30 amp

What should it be I do not want to put a 30 in and it causes probs then again I do not want to keep replacing 20 amps

Anyone else have similar problems

Hi,

Mine was delivered with a blown fuse! It was replaced and touch wood it hasn't gone again yet but I have heard of others with similar problems.

I note your comments about the Kessy Key and Parking Sensors. After a period of relative calm my Parking Sensors are all over the place again.
Did your garage isolate the problem with the Parking Sensors?

The parking sensors were fixed but at times they go

They only tend to be a problem in the rain ?????

The parking sensors are now working as 'normal' after four days of being ga-ga. I cannot find any particular reason why they go haywire but the garage can have another look at the same time as they sort the squeaking steering column! This noise happens when a turn right at low speeds!

All good fun really.
