The dreaded Touran ABS issue

Having purchased a VW Touran without doing my homework, I have since read about this ABS pump issue costing upwards of £1200 to sort, is this affecting all models or are some fitted with a reliable ABS pump. Mine has 88000 on the clock I have paperwork showing a new turbo fitted, new grearbox clutch flywheel and bearing a lot of parts for a five year old car, is it just a matter of time before Im looking for an ABS???


Having done some research I have found a company that can repair faulty ABS pump for £450 with 2 years warranty.

It affects all (diesel?) models but is a pretty random fault. Most of them seem to go earlier than 88k, so you might be lucky.

Shame because its a lovely vehicle to drive, another let down on the touran is the quality of the interior.
