audi a4 jumping in 1st gear

My audi a4 2002 seems to be having a problem pulling away.
When i select d and pull away it jumps. it only doe thois in first gear. all other gears are fine when driving.
is this a major problem? what causes it? and how can i get it sorted.

Hi,

If it's a 2002 car, it will most likely be a B6 model A4. Try reposting your question in the B6 forum, and you stand a much better chance of finding an answer and/or someone else who has or had the same problem.

You also need to post up more info to help people to know what car you have - engine, gearbox type, quattro/fwd etc.
