Water in footwells

After it rains I end up with water in the footwells. Anyone have the same trouble and know how I might cure the problem please?

Pop the bonnet and check the drainage holes in the battery plenum. One is underneath the battery, the other, underneath the ECU.

Fiver says this area is full of water :D
