tacho signal

Hi all,

I have been spending the day fitting a clifford concept 650 to my 2002 arosa however I have come across a hurdle.

I have got everything working except I have one wire left that goes to the tacho signal wire that monitors the engine speed for blackjax and door locking when moving.

Does anybody here know what wire in particular this is? I assume it goes to one of the conncetor blocks behind the speedo but which wire is it?

I drove a 1.0L auto once, unreal!

My information says that the rpm pulse comes from the ECU to the dash at pin 11 of the 32 pin blue plug on a very thin (0.35-mm) green wire.

I take it that would be the blue connector behind the speedo setup. Theres two connectors there but not sure theres 32 pins

There are two connectors on the back of the panel called T32 (blue) and T32a (green).

Blue T32

1. Connection KL 15+
2. Control light for the right turn signal
3. Output signal of the electronic speedometer

8. Coolant gauge
9. Connection KL 31 earth
10. Oil pressure switch

16. Signal for open boot
17. KL 56A low beam control
18. Control light for the left turn signal
19. ABS System
20. KL 58D, illumination of the instrument panel
21. Signal for open driver door
22. Coolant level warning
23. KL 30, clock
24. KL 31, earth
25. Line K, self-diagnosis
26. Right parking light
27. Left parking light
28. Electronic speedometer input signal

Green T32a

3. Control light for parking light

The connections not mentioned are assumed to be free.
