Indicator works but no ticking noise

The ticking noise you get when indicating has stopped working on my Fabia TDI. The indicators still work though. My local Garage (not Skoda) say I need a new instrument panel! I don't believe them. Any ideas?

Your Local garage is correct , the most likely cause is that the cluster is faulty has it has the audible warning bulit in ,
Don't Worry though as it isn't a MOT Failure.

Direction indicator ‘tell tales’ may be audible or visual
