New A4 camera on B7 convertible

I have been offered both a Q7 & New shape A4 camera to do a retro fit rear parking camera on our B7 convertible, and the new a4 comes in cheaper. Has anyone used a new a4 camera. or should I stick to the tried and tested Q7 method?
