Radio problem 02 Leon

I have the standard Aura radio Cassette in my 02 Leon,I inadverdantly pressed 1 or 2 wrong buttons in the dark,the panel now shows 2 SAFE,which according to the manual means that the code entry has been timed out & that I must wait with radio switched off, for 2 1000 to show,I have not been able to enter a code,how long do you have to wait? 2 days have gone,any suggestions please.

i had this last year i think you leave your ing on and turn your radio on it can take between 10 -60mins mine tock 30mins make sure you push the right buttons or you will have to sit and wait again .but just double check ring up a seat delership and the sevice dept should tell you how to get the radio to come back from safe this is wear i found out as the manual not very clear
