Hi Guys, looking for a bit of information on the above, its actually my dads car, its an Octavia 1.9TDi ASV engine.

When towing his caravan he has noticed lately that when faced with any incline the car 'bogs down' Iv run VCDS on it cleared all faults and given the car a good drive until the symptoms returned, re-scanned and the fault was as follows:

1 Fault Found:
17964 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Deviation
P1556 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: N/A

Any help on what is causing this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Iain
