I am considering coming back to VW (from Skoda Octavia) because the Match makes a Golf affordable again!. Before I do I would like to know how it tows - my caravan only weighs in at 1150kg so it should be okay weight wise. The 140PS version won Towcar of the Year but it had the Adaptive Chassis Control option fitted which is simply too expensive at nearly £800.
So if you tow without the ACC fitted how does the car sit - is it very 'nose up' for example? Any views gratefully received.
