Hi Johnnny
I've tried ebay and they all seem as bad as mine, except for one in Essex which is collect only even if you win the bid, auction till wed this week I think, the guy says its not been used but has slight scratches due to storage. here is the link if your interested.
Good luck!

Hi Gricey1
I have had alook at the wheel, i think the light scractchs are like little white marks under the lacure because we had the same problem at work so i think it is worth bidding.

One of my Atlantas is scratched too. Wondering if we can do a group buy from somewhere?

Check the forum sponsors - i'm sure 6-8 months ago this same issue came up but with a 18" rim and they were almost half the cost of the VW dealer.

Hi Percymon
Do you happen to know the name of the sponsor, I'm new to this site and I thought sponsors changed periodically.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum gricey1.

I see you are from Stoke on Trent the same as me.

So which model and version do you drive?

I don't think the sponers change that quick if you mean the site sponsers? (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/announcement.php?f=206&a=32) ;)

I damaged my Vancouver alloy not long after getting the car.

I was told it would be £120 for a repair because it was diamond cut, however it wouldn't be the same shade after repair as it was originally.

So I ended up having to take a deep breath and ordered one from VW at £329 and that was with a 20% discount, if I recall right!!!

I'd have been cheaper getting 4 after market wheels!

Is the Atlantis wheel diamond cut?

Yes it is diamond cut and I'm getting it re cut, this guy supposed to be really good and doing it for £75. obviously you cant keep cuting them every time theres a scrap.
So I'd like to get one as a spare, decent ones are hard to come by

There are 3 currently for sale on ebay. If They were my kind of wheel I'd definitely be going for one of them.
